Name: Mr. István Köpenczei Function/Position: The main objective of the EDFTC is the economic development of the area of activity. As the region is not very industrialised, the SME-s situated in the South-Transdanubian Region are the most important target group of the KIM. The main sectors of interest are: agriculture (especially vine-growing and wine-making), metal processing and machine-building, food processing. Special schemes are offered for SME-s and other organisations: consulting, project management, funding (micro-credit scheme, other credit lines, subsidies and supports), training programmes. In the last few months special projects were prepared in wine-industry, renewable energies and tourism.
