GEA College of Entrepreneurship is the leading private (under public concession) business school in Slovenia, focusing predominantly on Entrepreneurship. We are also the only business school in Central Eastern part of Europe with major on Entrepreneurship. It provides high-quality, practically oriented undergraduate, graduate and executive education in business administration. All programs are accredited through the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Slovenia and thus recognized worldwide under the EU directive. The studies are in line with the Bologna declaration (3 + 2) and the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) and that enables full mobility of GEA College students through Erasmus, Leonardo, Tempus and other EU programs.

In the academic year 2004/05 GEA College of Entrepreneurship introduced the International Undergraduate Study in Entrepreneurship. The study is designed for students from practically all over the world and is conducted in English language. The highly trained and experienced international faculty, which employs modern teaching methods, will give the class of international highly motivated and ambitious students a unique opportunity to acquire both excellent theoretical knowledge combined with many business related experience. The alumni of the international students will present a valuable asset in future lives of the entrepreneurs as their global network.

GEA College of Entrepreneurship, together with International Companies, Institutes and its UPI Foundation, offers a number of scholarships available to foreign students on competitive base.

Currently we are developing new study programs that will importantly enrich the supply of graduate studies in Slovenia and in this part of Europe. In the academic year 2006/2007 we are planning to start the following international study programs:

International Master in Entrepreneurship - this postgraduate study will continue the modernisation of all study programs at GEA College of Entrepreneurship, since it will include all directives of Bologna process: subjects content study, teaching methods, students mobility , ECTS…

Postgraduate Advanced School of Social Entrepreneurship, ASSE - a postgraduate course fully accredited by the High Professional Education Courses at University of Bologna, Italy (start in 2005). The plan is to start a Master in Social Economy and Entrepreneurship in the academic year 2006/2007.

Entrepreneurial Engineering undergraduate and postgraduate program: this study program is a combination of entrepreneurial and engineering knowledge. We would like to give future and existing entrepreneurs technical knowledge and foster growth of high-tech companies with high value added products. The program will take place in close cooperation with local companies and will also include mentorship and tutorship system with e-learning support. We will start with this program in 2007/2008.

International Cooperation

Our institution pays great attention to maintaining links with small and medium sized enterprises in Slovenia and around the world. It also co-operates with business schools that are world acknowledged. GEA College has cooperated with Babson College, USA, for 10 years. We are participating in numerous domestic and international projects (Tempus, Socrates, Phare, Leonardo da Vinci, Interreg, Jean Monnet etc.). For our credibility guarantee Prof. dr. Robert Hisrich, he is the world famous of the best authorities on Entrepreneurship and a very respected partner of GEA College of Entrepreneurship, Slovenia.
