Description

The Enterprise Agency of Somogy County was established by the Municipality of Somogy County in 1991, after a successful PHARE tender of the European Commission.

The strategic aims and the business plan of the Enterprise Agency are upholding of the proposals for mitigating employment problems, developing tourism and agriculture, increasing the number of working and start-up SMEs. Our target is to help the foundation of private and collective, legal and non legal personality enterprises, independently from activity, organization and form of ownership, increasing their number, help them to work on a high technological standard and increase their capital power after a change of regime in 1990.

We try to recover the missing knowledge of being an entrepreneur. We help SMEs survive the undeveloped system of economic and business institutes and old moral of business milieu. Our clients can find us in the centre of the county and in other five towns in well-equipped offices with growing number of local and international partners.

Our workers believe, that connecting to Europe basically depends on changing our economy to be efficient. Our experts want to help do it.

The strategic aims:

• Developing of the entrepreneurs’ moral by education and trainings

By adapting the most important items of the economic surrounding, we teach marketing, tax, external trade, duty, company laws knowledge, and new skills for unemployed people.

• Improving efficiency of enterprises

We want to help SMEs to get as big part of the market and as big profit as it is possible by recommending different possibilities of the incubator house, introducing successful enterprises and analysing break-downs.

• Increasing competitiveness of companies

We motivate the small enterprises to use marketing items because of the stronger concurrencies. We try to give wider publicity of the qualification norms of the EU. Our target to prepare the SME sector for joining the international employment as well as being suppliers of multinational companies.

• Motivating SMEs to establish and expand enterprises.

Besides special credits we give advices how to change an enterprise.

• Galvanizing the economic of Somogy county, reducing unemployment

Together local municipalities and authorities we would like to influence developing of economy by realizing different studies and operational programs.

• Attracting investors to Somogy County

We organize business meetings and investors’ conferences for reducing defective capital.

• Giving up-to-date information for SMEs

We have business information database and up-to-date media analyses in all of our offices.

• Charting the needs of education

We research the needs of education and organize special training programs for SMEs.

The role of Enterprise Agency of Somogy County in sponsoring the small- and middle size enterprises is meaningful. Not only because it undertakes the extremely great risk of this contractor layer, but it contributes to decrease the competition drawback of small enterprises by means of financial aids. Its complex educational-advising and financial programmes, financial aids help to increase the number and role of micro- small- and middle size enterprises.
