Description

The Osijek City Government, situated in the old city core called Tvrđa, in F. Kuhača St. 9,  has some 234 employees and takes care after the needs of the citizens of the city of Osijek regarding:

• spatial planning and space management of the city area well as its environmental protection and promotion as well as the preservation of the cultural and historical heritage
• encouraging development of economy, tourism and entrepreneurial activities
• business premises management
• improvement of the living quality, construction and maintaining of the communal facilities, communal and other services, fire department, construction and maintenance of the local infrastructure, coordination of the work of public companies, management of housing units and business units owned by the city
• protection of living standards and looking after socially handicapped people
• business related to the satisfaction of needs of the citizens in the field of health protection as well as the health protection of plants and animals
• looking after the needs of children, education as well as in the field of culture, sports and technical culture
